We are starting a new unit on Matter this week. All "Family Album" Projects in my advanced classes should be uploaded to Focus by midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning.
Essential Questions: nce’s molecules determine its state of matter?
Objectives:
Essential Questions: nce’s molecules determine its state of matter?
- How does the arrangement of a substance's molecules determine the state of matter?
- How does the arrangement of a substance's molecules determine the speed at which light and sound can travel through it?
Objectives:
- Identify and describe the arrangement of molecules in each state of matter
- Create a model to explain the motion of particles in a solid, liquid and gas
- Relate the arrangement of molecules in solids, liquids, and gases to light's speed as it travels through each state of matter
- Explain that light and sound can be reflected, refracted, and/or absorbed as it interacts with different states of matter.
Assignments (Please access assignments and daily slides (NOTES) through TEAMS via One View)
