We have our first unit test on THURSDAY! The test is worth 50% of your grade. A study guide will be given out on Tuesday.
Essential Question: How can we differentiate between pure substances and mixtures?
Objectives: By the end of the week, students should be able to:
- Classify common substances as pure substances or mixtures
- Identify that pure substances can be elements or compounds
- Differentiate between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures
- Identify that mixtures can involve multiple states of matter (gas dissolved in liquid)
